Leila Solh
DIRECTOR BEIT BIL JNOUB, Lebanon

Leila Solh holds two master degrees, one in Sociology and the other in Urban Planning and Policy from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon. She has extensive experience in social development, research and planning. From 2013 - 2018, Leila was working with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), a leading International NGO responding to the Syrian Crisis through large scale humanitarian assistance. Leila started with DRC as a Project Manager for a World Bank funded project in Lebanon, which focused on building the capacities of the Ministry of Social Affairs to deal with the heavy influx of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, as well as to provide livelihood opportunities to both refugees and hosting communities. In early 2015, Leila took on the role of Grants Manager for DRC Syria (Beirut-based), where she manages grant proposals, donor reporting and relations. Since 2018 she works 100% for Beit bil Jnoub and SWISS4SYRIA.

Jessica Mor-Camenzind
Managing Director - Co-Founder

Jessica grow up in Zurich as the daughter of a Lebanese mother and a Swiss father. After studies at the Hotelmanagementschool in Lucerne, she worked in marketing and sales before becoming the mother of two sons. Currently she runs several businesses i.e. mezze a gogo, a Lebanese cooking school business, as well wohnungsnews.ch, a real estate newsletter. She often travels to our community center in Lebanon and is in contact with our partners on location. She speaks German, English and French.

Tamer Amr
Chairman of the Board - Co-Founder

Tamer is Lebanese and American, and began his career as an English teacher in Lebanon. A graduate of Amherst College (Middle Eastern History), and INSEAD (MBA), he has been living and working in Switzerland since 1997, working in the real estate sector for REInvest AG of Geneva, Lehman Brothers & PSP Swiss Property in Zurich. He currently serves as the director of various real estate investment companies in India, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico and the United States. He speaks French, German, Arabic and English.

Barbara Schaufelberger
Board Member

Barbara grew up in Bern and trained as a kindergarten teacher there.
She lives in Zug with her family. Today she works as a kindergarten teacher and DaZ teacher. There she has contact with many people from different cultures and social classes and knows the difficulties when a family has to gain a foothold in a foreign country. The well-being of the child is always in the foreground for her. She is involved in various associations and organizations in various areas. ISABELLE OSWALD
BOARD MEMBER

Isabelle was born and raised in Zurich, is married and has 2 daughters. Her professional roots are in marketing, but for over 20 years she has devoted herself entirely to retail and the development of beautiful products. She developed the desire to achieve more with consumer goods than just the joy of beautiful products and thus developed the SOAP4HOPE line, with which she supports the Masar Community Center. Isabelle visited Lebanon and the center and was so impressed that she decided to get even more involved with S4L. Isabelle speaks German, English and French.
